Solar fabric Inc is located in Snowmass Colorado,just 10 minutes   east of Aspen Colorado and 15 miles west of Carbondale Colorado. Carbondale being home to several major solar power companys and many small and midsize startups due to the abundance of sunlight in the area.These companys will be listed in our links page.

Our company was formed in march 2005 after a trip with friends to Tulum Mexico.While on a day trip through an isolated part of Riviera Maya known as Sian Kan Bio Reserve,we stopped to go snorkeling
in a clear water inlet. We had to make a important phone call.The signal was good but the battery died
before the call went through.We discussed how nice it would be if the day pack we had with us had a solar panel to recharge our battery,as the conversation progressed we came to the conclussion that it would be even better if the fabric that the day pack was made from was able to generate power,Upon arriving back stateside I looked up (fabric that generates power) on the internet.The day before, a news report was released describing a fabric that generates electricity
...aka.. (Solar Fabric).
I quickly purchased the domain name and notified my friends.
